• Keep electrical cables from lamps or charging devices arranged so they cannot pull the table over or create a trip hazard.
• Do not place the table where a door, recliner, bed mechanism, or passing furniture can strike it.
• Do not sit, stand, climb, or use the table as a stool, step, luggage stand, or permanent footrest.
• Do not lean heavily on one side or place concentrated weight on an unsupported edge, corner, shelf, or overhang.
• Use only within the product-specific tabletop and shelf load guidance supplied by the vendor.

Drawers, Doors, and Shelves

• Where storage is included, distribute contents evenly and keep them within the product-specific load guidance.
• Open drawers or doors using the supplied handle, keeping the other hand away from hinges and closing gaps.
• Do not pull an open drawer downward or use a drawer, door, shelf, or handle as a lifting point.
• Keep runners, hinges, catches, and storage interiors free from liquid, crumbs, dust accumulation, and loose objects.
• Close drawers and doors before moving the table.

Material-Specific Care

• For timber or veneer surfaces, wipe in the direction of the grain and avoid prolonged contact with standing water.
• For stone or marble tops, blot acidic liquids promptly and use only a cleaner approved for the stated stone.
• For glass or mirror, apply a suitable cleaner to the cloth rather than spraying near timber, metal, cane, inlay, adhesive joints, or an underside coating.
• For metal components, keep surfaces dry and remove spills promptly to reduce staining or corrosion.
• For cane, rattan, or woven panels, remove dust with a soft brush and avoid soaking, scrubbing, or placing concentrated pressure on the weave.

Environmental Protection

• Keep indoor side tables away from prolonged direct sunlight, strong heat, air-conditioning vents, damp walls, and rapid changes in temperature or humidity.

Assembly Requirement

If the side table is supplied fully assembled, no assembly is required. Remove the protective packaging, position the table on a level floor, and check its tabletop, base, and floor contact before use.

If supplied partially knocked down, follow the steps below together with the product-specific assembly diagram.

Before Assembly

• Use two adults and prepare a clean, level, padded work area large enough to support the complete tabletop.
• Open the carton carefully without cutting deeply, and verify the tabletop, pedestal or legs, apron, shelf, drawer, levelers, fasteners, and tools against the supplied parts list.
• Keep glass, stone, marble, mirror, cane, and delicate inlay components supported and separated from hard tools or loose hardware.
• Retain all packaging until assembly and inspection are complete.

Base and Frame Assembly

1. Identify the marked orientation of the legs, pedestal, apron, braces, and any shelf before joining them.
2. Hand-start every fastener and keep the connections slightly loose until all components are correctly aligned.
3. Where a shelf fits between the legs or frame, position and support it before final tightening.
4. Tighten fasteners gradually in an alternating sequence. Do not use an impact driver or overtighten the connections.
5. Install the floor levelers or protective glides where supplied, ensuring they remain evenly adjusted.

Attaching the Top

1. Place a timber or metal tabletop face-down only on a clean padded surface and only when permitted by the product-specific instructions.
2. Do not place stone, glass, marble, mirror, cane, or delicate inlay face-down unless specifically instructed.
3. Align the base with the factory-marked fixing points and hand-start all top-to-base fasteners before tightening them gradually.
4. For a loose-laid glass, stone, or marble top, position every supplied pad, bumper, support, or retainer before lowering the top. Do not substitute household adhesive.
5. With sufficient assistance, lift and turn the table upright. Never pivot its complete weight on one edge, slender leg, corner, or decorative projection.

Storage Components

• Install drawers, doors, handles, catches, or shelves only in their marked positions where supplied separately.
• Test each moving component slowly and without load.
• Do not force a drawer, hinge, door, or catch that binds or remains misaligned.

Final Checks

• Position the table on its intended floor and adjust the levelers until every support point makes firm contact.
• Confirm that the tabletop is centred, securely seated, level, and stable under gentle pressure.
• Check shelves, drawers, doors, glass supports, floor glides, and accessible fasteners before placing objects on the table.
• Do not use the table if it rocks, tilts, has a loose top, or contains damaged glass, stone, joints, cane, or hardware.

Periodic Inspection

• For normal residential use, inspect the side table approximately every three months. Inspect more frequently in hospitality, commercial, or high-use settings.
• Check tabletop edges, top-to-base connections, apron joints, pedestal fittings, legs, braces, shelves, levelers, floor glides, and accessible fasteners.
• Inspect glass supports, stone fixings, inlay sections, cane panels, handles, hinges, drawers, doors, or catches where included.
• Stop using the table if the top shifts, the base rocks, a leg or shelf loosens, or glass, stone, cane, inlay, or a structural connection becomes damaged.

Fasteners and Levelling

• Maintain firm floor contact at every leg, foot, or leveler. Recheck the level after moving the table or changing the floor covering.

Surfaces and Storage Hardware
